About
GenZ will need to deal with not only the quirks of human mind but also of AI systems that will be omnipresent in their future. The MaiND Program for GenZ is a “Brain Sciences & AI for Society” program originating in the Silicon Valley, California, USA with a global outreach for creating awareness on the wonders and illusions of mind and AI. Life long benefits unfold leading to better lives and society when we realize early in life how Cognitive Illusions are embedded in our own uniquely wired brain and apply success strategies to mitigate their impact and make better decisions.

Story of MaiND!!
Welcome to the MaiND Program for GenZ!
The brain is one of the most astonishing wonders of nature, a complex organ that orchestrates every thought, emotion, and action with its vast network of 86 billion neurons connected by 100 trillion synapses. It operates on a meager 20 watts of power required for a dim light bulb! It’s the seat of our consciousness, imagination, and creativity, allowing us to innovate and solve problems in ways that no other species can.
Despite more sophistication than the most advanced supercomputers, our brains need to simplify information processing and make quick decisions in a complex world using mental shortcuts called heuristics. While these shortcuts are extremely ingenuous and overwhelmingly helpful, they can also lead to systematic errors in judgment and decision-making, commonly known as cognitive biases (illusions). This can limit us!
The sooner we realize how cognitive illusions are embedded in our own uniquely wired brains and apply success strategies to overcome them, the longer we shall live a flourishing life and help create a better world!
Enter the MaiND Program for GenZ!
MaiND Program is a “Brain Sciences & AI for Society” program originating in the Silicon Valley, California, USA with a global outreach for creating awareness of brain’s wonders and its Cognitive Illusions that often limit us.
MaiND Program motivates GenZ to study and experience cognitive illusions, common thinking errors, arising from the brain’s structure, function and life experiences and to mitigate these illusions with success strategies.
To achieve this in a fun, inquiring, experimentative, collaborative and social way, MaiND Program has four components:
- MaiND Bee (in-person) 2025 to select student for awards and attending MaiND Conferences
- MaiND Conference bringing together students and faculty around Wonders & Illusions of Mind & AI
- NeuroSmart Clubs to learn and network around wonders and illusions of mind & AI
- Demo Lectures on the wonders and illusions of Mind & AI to educate and excite students
MaiND Program is conducted by partnering colleges and universities, K-12 schools, outreach organizations, professional associations, government agencies, corporations, and more.
MaiND Program will honor winning GenZ with up to $10,000 of awards at the regional, national and international levels. Details coming in 2025!
MaiND Program is a volunteer run program supported by well wishers.
We call upon students, faculty and professionals to bring the components of MaiND Program such as NeuroSmart Clubs and Demo Lectures to their schools.
We hope corporations, associations, government agencies, organizations and individuals will fund larger awards and operational expenses of running the program.
We seek AP Psychology teachers, neuroscience professors and “neuro/AI” professionals to become advisors and expert commentators on the AI-based learning content and interactions.
We are targeting 10s of 1000s of GenZ in 2025 to participate in the MaiND Program! May the force be with GenZ!
